Site Overhaul Now Live

The MESA public site refresh is now live, with behind-the-scenes work continuing on accounts, character creation, galleries, and backend sync.

Progressing on character creator behind the scenes. I'm spending a bit of extra time on the art side of things, and onboarding a 3D artist to assist with preparing the required assets. We're targeting multiple different body types, as well as a wide variety of outfits and voice configurations.

Now Live

  • Revamped front end for improved onboarding / UX.
  • Updated public site structure for future systems.

Accounts, saved custom characters, publishing, profile-based character management, galleries, and character creator preview UI are not live yet. For now, this update is focused on the public site refresh and the foundation for those future systems.

Behind The Scenes

  • Account and login groundwork.
  • Character creator and related profile UI.
  • Asset preparation for custom faces, body types, outfits, and voice configurations.
  • Foundational backend work toward synchronizing the character database with the livestream.

Planned Features

  • Saving custom characters to your profile.
  • Global character gallery for published characters.
  • "My Characters" page with settings for editing, publishing, and allowing use on stream.
  • Custom faces / outfits.
  • Exposing our character pipeline for public use, WIP.
  • Wallet linking on site.
  • Chat identity linking and possible global XP system.
  • Automated clipping on site via chat identity link + commands.

Additional Notes

Each character will receive a unique ID appended to each name to prevent name squatting and abuse. Characters will have a minimum and maximum name length and be subject to light moderation.

They will be spawnable via their unique ID in chat. We will track each time your character is spawned and affect your XP.
